An original American success story, Clarence and Juanita Lieber started Washer Specialties on February 2, 1960, selling installation equipment for the then "new" automatic washers and dryers. They operated the business out of a small store front building and even delivered parts to their customers that were within driving distance.
Because of their dedication to their customers and fair pricing, the company quickly began flourish. Learning at his fathers side, Alan Lieber took a vested interest in the company and helped push it to new heights. Their first big boost with appliance parts began when Washer Specialties became a distributor for GE. Then in the 1971 they produced the first Washer Specialties Armstrong Parts catalog. Their company continued to advance with these new developments. In the early 1990's Alan Lieber created the companies first webpage which helped boost sales and keep pace with a growing world. This launch was closely followed by the unveiling of their new line of HVAC products which helped further diversify and expand their growing inventory.
The company continues to flourish in today's fast pace world because of the innovative and strong leadership of Alan Lieber. Since 1960 the company remains unchanged in their steadfast dedication to their customers, this is one thing that will never change.
